Skull System Explained

White Skull

A character will be marked with a white skull if they attack or kill an unmarked player. Everyone can see this skull. Players with this skull are commonly known as "PKs". The skull remains active until the logout block expires. If the player continues to perform offensive actions while marked, the skull duration will be extended, along with the logout block and protection zone block.

Killing a character marked with a white skull is a justified death, so you won't receive any mark.

However, if you attack someone with a white skull, that player will see a yellow skull on you, indicating that you attacked them. This allows the player marked with the white skull to defend themselves without penalty, as if they were killing someone who was marked.

Red Skull

Characters who kill several unmarked players within a time period will be marked with a red skull and face severe penalties. This happens when a character kills:

3 unmarked characters in 24 hours
OR
5 unmarked characters in 7 days
OR
10 unmarked characters in 30 days

Once a character reaches any of these three limits, they will be marked with a red skull for 30 days. Note that each time one of these limits is reached again, the red skull duration is reset to 30 days.

Penalty: A character marked with a red skull will drop all items upon death, even if they have all blessings or are wearing an Amulet of Loss.

Black Skull

Characters who cross one of the limits for a red skull will be marked with a black skull for 45 days. Characters receive this skull when they kill:

6 or more unmarked characters in 24 hours
OR
10 or more unmarked characters in 7 days
OR
20 or more unmarked characters in 30 days

Each time one of these limits is reached, the black skull is reset to 45 days.

Severe Restrictions:

  • Drops all items upon death
  • Cannot attack players who don't have a skull
  • Cannot use aggressive spells or area runes
  • Loses all summons when receiving the black skull
  • Takes 100% damage instead of 50% in PvP combat
  • When dying, wakes up with 40 HP and 0 Mana

Warning: If you attack several characters while having a red skull and then your skull turns black, you won't be able to attack the players you attacked before, as they won't have a yellow skull for you.

Yellow Skull

This yellow skull is special because it is not visible to all players. Only you will see it on whoever attacked you.

You will see a yellow skull if your character is attacked by another player while you are marked with a skull. This happens because you have the right to defend yourself.

If you kill a character with a yellow skull, the death does not count as unjustified and is treated like any other justified kill.

Similar to the white skull, a yellow skull remains active until the logout block expires. If the player continues to perform offensive actions while marked, the skull duration will be extended, along with the logout block and protection zone block.

Orange Skull (Revenge)

Similar to the yellow skull, this orange skull is not visible to all players. Only you will see it on whoever killed you unjustifiably.

You will see an orange skull if your character is killed without justification by another player. All characters who killed your character unjustifiably will be marked with an orange skull visible to you for 7 days. This gives you enough time to gather all your friends and get revenge for the death.

Revenge: If you kill a character with an orange skull, it will not count as unjustified.

However, if you attack a character with an orange skull, you will be marked with a yellow skull for your victim and will receive the usual protection zone block.

An orange skull lasts 7 days or until you take revenge and kill the character with the skull. If a character killed you multiple times in the last 7 days, the skull lasts until you avenge each of those deaths. Once all unjustified deaths are avenged or 7 days have passed, the skull disappears.
